Conor graduated from Queens University, Belfast in 1999 with a BSc in Accounting and completed the Diploma in Accounting the following year. He trained in the audit department of KPMG in Belfast and was admitted to Chartered Accountants Ireland as an Associate in 2003. Conor joined Finegan Gibson in 2003 specialising in the voluntary and community sector. He also looks after a wide range of private clients across a diverse range of businesses. Conor lectures extensively for Chartered Accountants Ireland and direct to the private sector delivering a range of audit related courses. He also is regularly called upon to deliver financial reporting and governance workshops to the voluntary and community sector.
Paul graduated from Queens University Belfast with an Honours degree in Finance in June 2003. He joined Finegan Gibson in July 2007 following completion of a 4 year training contract with PwC. He was admitted to Chartered Accountants Ireland in May 2007. Paul is an expert on financial controls and is regularly called upon to advise clients on strengthening their control environment, investigating financial irregularities and ensuring effective corporate governance.
Ashleigh heads Finegan Gibson’s payroll department. Working in the payroll industry for over 6 years, having managed payrolls with numbers up to 10,000 employees, she brings a wealth of experience to the team. Ashleigh is proficient in dealing with payroll and pension related matters and advises our clients to ensure they comply with statutory requirements and imposed deadlines.
Andrew graduated from University of Ulster with a BSc in Accounting in 2009. Andrew became an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) in 2013 and subsequently a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) in 2018. Andrew worked for 2 well established medium sized Belfast Accountancy Firms before moving to Finegan Gibson in 2020 to take up the position of Tax Manager. Andrew heads up the private client offering at Finegan Gibson and has considerable experience in both personal and corporate tax compliance and advisory.
Courtney graduated from Queens University with a BSc in Accounting in 2015. Courtney began her training contract with EY in 2016 before joining Finegan Gibson in 2019, where she has since completed her training contract. Courtney became an Associate Chartered Accountant in 2021. Courtney has wide knowledge in charity and club audits and accounts preparation for the voluntary and community sector.
Joanne graduated from University of Ulster with a BSc in Accounting in 2017.
Joanne joined Finegan Gibson in September 2017 where she completed her training contract and became an Associate Chartered Accountant in 2021.
She has extensive knowledge in the audit of voluntary sectors and charity accounts preparation.
Mark graduated from Queen’s University with a BSc in Mathematics in 2018 and began a training contract with Finegan Gibson in September 2018. He has since completed his training contract and became an Associate Chartered Accountant in 2022.
Mark has extensive experience across all aspects of accountancy including sole traders and limited companies but specialises in the audit of voluntary sector organisations and preparation of charity accounts.
Niamh graduated from Queens University Belfast with a BSc in Accounting in 2019.
Niamh joined Finegan Gibson in June 2019 where she completed her training contract and became an Associate Chartered Accountant in 2023. She possesses a strong knowledge of club and charity audits and accounts preparation for these niche entities. She also works with a portfolio of private clients and companies providing taxation and related services.
