Conor graduated from Queens University, Belfast in 1999 with a BSc in Accounting and completed the Diploma in Accounting the following year. He trained in the audit department of KPMG in Belfast and was admitted to Chartered Accountants Ireland as an Associate in 2003. Conor joined Finegan Gibson in 2003 specialising in the voluntary and community sector. He also looks after a wide range of private clients across a diverse range of businesses. Conor lectures extensively for Chartered Accountants Ireland and direct to the private sector delivering a range of audit related courses. He also is regularly called upon to deliver financial reporting and governance workshops to the voluntary and community sector.
Des Gibson is a law graduate from Queens University, Belfast and Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland. Prior to joining Finegan Gibson in 1985 he worked for a long established medium-sized Belfast firm. Des has a wealth of experience in advising Northern Ireland business and in particular the voluntary and community sector. His private client base consists of many of Northern Irelands legal and medical profession.
Paul graduated from Queens University Belfast with an Honours degree in Finance in June 2003. He joined Finegan Gibson in July 2007 following completion of a 4 year training contract with PwC. He was admitted to Chartered Accountants Ireland in May 2007. Paul is an expert on financial controls and is regularly called upon to advise clients on strengthening their control environment, investigating financial irregularities and ensuring effective corporate governance.
Jolene graduated from Queens University with a BSc in Accounting in 2010. Jolene completed her training contract with Finegan Gibson Ltd and is an Associate Chartered Accountant. Jolene manages audit and tax assignments for a number of clients in the private and voluntary and community sectors.
With 20 years experience, Margaret heads Finegan Gibsons payroll processing and VAT department. She ensures her client base comply with statutory reporting requirements within imposed deadlines. She advises clients on payroll and VAT related matters helping them run their operations efficiently and compliantly.
Rachel graduated from University of Ulster with a BSc in Accounting. and joined Finegan Gibson in 2010. Rachel is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant and Associate of Chartered Accountants Ireland. She delivers a range of services including providing accountancy, business support and tax advice to clients of all sizes. Rachel has a specialism in charities and acts as audit manager for some of the largest charities in Northern Ireland.
